I'm Carlos, an award-winning editor with over a decade of experience enhancing television series' quality and viewership. My passion for storytelling spans movies, TV, video games, and comic books. While my primary focus is video editing, I also enjoy writing and engaging in post-production processes.

One of my proudest achievements is editing Counterattack (Counterstrike in the USA), directed by Chava Cartas. The film became the most-watched Mexican movie of all time on Netflix and reached the Global Top 10 in non-English language films: an unprecedented milestone for Mexican cinema on the platform.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of collaborating with major companies like HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and Amblin. Notably, I contributed to "Sr. Ávila," an HBO series starring Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) that won an International Emmy Award for its third season. I also edited "Tijuana," a Netflix series that delves into the lives of journalists uncovering political corruption. Additionally, I've worked with renown filmmakers all over the globe including Arturo Ripstein.

Beyond television and film, I have extensive experience editing branded content for leading companies such as eBay, MG, TC Energía, CFE, Cinépolis, Upfield, and Teran/TBWA. My role involves end-to-end editing, from rough cuts to final master, ensuring quality control and client satisfaction. I also coordinate post-production processes and maintain direct communication with clients to align the final product with their vision.

I'm proficient in various editing software, including Avid, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut. I pour my heart and energy into every project, striving to make it the best version possible while leaving a personal imprint. Feel free to explore my work, and if you'd like to discuss a project or just chat, email me at . I'd love to hear from you!
