First is Sr. Avila: I'm really proud about this one. The director had a lot of coverage and a lot of different moments were useful. I managed to select the best moment and give this the importance it deserved. After all, this is one scene before the grand finale of the season:
Tijuana was one of those series we completely rewrote on the Editor's room. The idea behind it was amazing but the execution was lacking strength and heart. So we decided to start making some parallels. I was the one who did them most of the time and this is definitely one of my favorites since there's a contrast between the interview and the shooting:
This is more lighthearted content than some of the stuff I've edited, but I really liked it. It was a short film directed by a young director and she and I got along so well that I ended up editing her first movie for zero money. The irony of the scene and the camera movements worked really well, so it was just a matter of choosing which shots were more in sync with the overall tone:
